TOPICS OF THE CONFERENCE

Dear Colleagues,

The conference will offer the opportunity to present the development of state-of-the-art and new thermoelectric materials, theoretical modelling of their physical properties, integration of optimized materials into devices and development of cooling and power generation applications. The conference will consist of scientific sessions with plenary, invited talks and oral communications and two poster sessions. 

The following topics will be covered during the conference:

• Thermoelectric Materials & Processing

Chalcogenides, full and half–Heuslers, Zintls, silicides, sulfides, organic & hybrid materials, oxides… in the form of bulks, thin films or nanostructured.

• Theory & Modelling

First-principles-based modelling and prediction of thermoelectric materials and/or modelling and design of thermoelectric devices, artificial intelligence tools for accelerating the discovery of novel compounds.

• Measurements & Characterizations

Advanced characterization techniques of thermoelectric materials and devices, standardization of measurement techniques.

• Thermoelectric Devices & Applications

Cooling, power generation, sensors, waste heat recovery in industry…

• Emerging Topics

Thermal management, transverse thermoelectric effects, interface effects, additive manufacturing...

This conference will be also opened to other relevant topics.
